If your kids have been asking about music or dance lessons, Cuenca's historic Conservatorio José María Rodríguez just opened enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year — and spots tend to fill up fast.

What's Available

The conservatory offers two tracks:

Dance

• Beginners: Ages 9-12
• Students with experience: Age 10+
• Registration window: May 6-29, 2026

Music

• Beginners: Age 7+
• Students with experience: Age 8+
• Registration deadline: May 22, 2026

Both programs accept registrations from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

How to Register

Show up in person at the Conservatorio with:

• The child's cédula (ID card)
• The parent or legal representative's cédula
