Cuenca Foundation Day — 469th Anniversary

Cuenca celebrates its 469th founding anniversary on April 12, with festivities running all month. Expect serenades with fireworks, student parades, concerts, art festivals, and civic events. Last year's celebrations generated over $31 million in economic activity. The municipality is still accepting cultural event proposals for the official agenda.
