Baños Producer Moves 4,000 Quail Eggs A Week Into Cuenca Markets

A Baños food producer is pushing a small farm product into more formal Cuenca sales channels.
Liliana Morocho maintains 800 laying quail at a farm in Baños and sells more than 4,000 eggs per week under the Productos del Campo brand.
From Farm To Shelves
The operation now produces between 600 and 650 eggs a day. Its usual package contains 18 units and sells for $1.50.
The eggs are currently sold at Supermercado Mega Santa Cecilia, AgroAzuay stores, Ecomercado Gran Sol, and directly at Feria Libre.
Why It Matters Locally
This is a very Cuenca kind of food story: a small producer, a parish farm, and a local product moving from direct sales into supermarket and market channels.
For shoppers, the practical takeaway is that a Baños-produced item is now easier to find through several named local outlets.
