Gasoline And Diesel Prices Are Expected To Drop On July 12

Fuel prices are expected to drop a little on Sunday, July 12, 2026.

The government modified the internal pricing formula for gasoline and diesel so international price declines can show up faster and sharp accumulated increases have less impact on users.

Expected Pump Prices

The estimate is a reduction of five cents per gallon for Extra, Ecopaís and diesel.

That would move:

• Extra and Ecopaís from $3.31 to $3.25 per gallon
• Diesel from $3.26 to $3.20 per gallon

The monthly update is still tied to the 12th of each month through the hydrocarbon regulator.
