More Music Through June 27

The closing event is scheduled for June 27 at Plaza de El Otorongo, starting at 16:00.
A 60-Year Moment
This year's edition has extra meaning because Alianza Francesa de Cuenca marks 60 years of activity in 2026. Local artists will also be paid for their performances, a measure meant to strengthen the cultural sector.
For expats, this is the kind of Cuenca week worth keeping loose evenings for. Free concerts, familiar film music and a citywide festival are a pretty friendly entry point if you are still learning the local arts calendar.
