Amaru Opens 2026 Vacation Camps for Kids, Teens and Adults

Families planning the school break just got another local option.
El Mercurio reports that Amaru Bioparque Cuenca announced its 2026 vacation camps between June 29 and August 21, 2026, with programs for children, teenagers and adults inside the biopark.
What The Camps Include
According to the report, activities will take place inside Amaru and include walks on natural trails, games, art activities, and learning experiences about wildlife, flora and conservation.
The stated goal is for participants to learn more about Amaru's conservation work and develop greater awareness of nature protection.
Dates And Groups
El Mercurio lists these groups:
- Ages 4 to 6: August 4 to 8, from 09:00 to 14:00
- Ages 7 to 10: August 11 to 15, from 09:00 to 14:00
- Ages 11 to 14: June 29 to July 3, from 09:00 to 14:00
- Ages 15 and older: July 6 to 10, from 09:00 to 14:00
The report also says extended hours are available until 16:00.
