Cuenca Tram Extends Night Service for Corpus Christi

Cuenca's tram is staying open later during Corpus Christi.
Commercial tram service will run until 22:30 from Thursday, June 4 through Friday, June 12, 2026.
The extended schedule is meant to help people get to and from the Centro Historico during the religious and food festival around Parque Calderon without adding more cars to the evening traffic.
What Changes
The late service means the final tram unit is expected to leave each terminal station at 22:30.
Frequencies are also being tightened to 10 minutes, compared with the usual 15-minute interval.
What This Means For Expats
If you are going into El Centro for sweets, castillos, Mass, dinner or just the atmosphere, the tram is probably the easiest option.
It will not solve every crowd problem, but it does give you a cleaner exit plan than trying to drive near Parque Calderon at night.
The basic move: park or walk to a tram stop away from the crush, ride in, and leave before the final departures get packed.
