Ecuador Has a Three-Day Virtual Employment Fair This Week

This one is not Cuenca-only, but it is practical enough to flag.
The Feria Laboral Virtual Ecuador 2026 runs from June 18 to June 20, bringing together 25 national and international companies through a digital platform where users can review vacancies and apply directly.
How To Participate
The basic process is:
-
Register on the fair's official platform
-
Complete your professional profile
-
Upload an updated resume
-
Check that your information is current before the event starts
Once the fair opens, users can enter with the email used for registration, review company spaces, check job requirements and apply to roles that match their experience or training.
The organizers say there will be no application limit, so participants can apply to all relevant vacancies.
Companies Listed
The confirmed company list includes Nirsa, Holcim, Corporacion El Rosado, Difare, Heineken, Grupo Vilaseca, Fadesa, Semvra, Farmacias Mia, La Llave, Inmovila, Ecuaimco, Fundacion Faces, Salica, Cresio, Parque de la Paz, Contecon, Cresa, Ufinet, Skretting, Corporacion MAS, Omnihospital, Indurama, Marcimex and Primax.
Why Expats Should Care
Most foreign residents in Cuenca are not looking for a traditional Ecuadorian job. But some are: trailing spouses, younger expats, bilingual residents, people building a local life, or anyone trying to understand what Ecuador's formal job market looks like right now.
If that is you, this is a low-friction way to scan employers and requirements without taking a bus across town to a physical fair.
Keep Cuenca's daily expat briefing independent.
